So i watched Dev Patel – the shiny new star of Slumdog Millionaire – getting interviewed this morning. As a massive fan of the film and it’s Director Danny Boyle, i just wanted to say how refreshing it is to see how unaffected this talented young actor is by all the paparazzi and hype surrounding the film. The film is a beautiful portrayal of two brothers growing up in the slums of India and the separate journeys they choose to take. I think it’s brilliant how little we heard about the film before it’s release. It’s kept the essense of the film true and admiringly, the actors and actresses involved are following suite.
