NAVTEQ – Customer profiling

The brief

NAVTEQ – the leading supplier of technology for satellite navigation systems – wanted to find a simple yet effective way to segment the top end of their customer base.

The work

With a simple profiling quiz and strategic, well thought out questions, it becomes easier to profile certain customers. Taking the customer profiles from NAVTEQ’s existing research, i created an entire quiz based around the needs and desires of these particular types of customers. I gave them fun, funky names, and shaped the characters to meet the expectations of the client and the customer base themselves. I also had to build the incentive (a Garmin sat nav) so it was even more likely that customers would fill in the quiz and complete the process.

The result

A clean, slick set of campaign that provides NAVTEQ with the perfect platform from which to begin to understand their customers needs more.
