KFC Bringing back The Double

The brief

To help celebrate reaching 500,000 fans on Facebook, KFC Australia wanted to do something special to thank the fans who made it happen.

The work

From managing the community, I know that KFC Australia’s fans are passionate about many items on the menu, but The Double is a clear favourite. So what could be a better thank you than bringing back their all time favourite item to the menu? I constructed a campaign on Facebook to prove that when you give the people what they want, social media it one powerful tool. The campaign consisted of lots of build up to reaching 500,000 fans and creative visuals and content to support it with promise of The Double coming to stores nationwide.

The result

The campaign was so successful at driving sales, the client is looking to social media for all future product pushes.
