Decathalon

The brief

Decathalon wanted to advertise a special new promotion to attract customers into their stores. They decided to do this through banner advertising so potential customers could click straight through to the core sections of their website.

The work

I created two concepts, the first is a clean, simple banner design that cleverly illustrates the range of products Decathalon sell in store. The type scrolls past the line of items on the banner which are then replaced with a gift box. The box then slowly unravels to reveal the free gift card. The second banner encompasses an outdoor theme by using turf as the background with the headlines displayed in white paint. Again, we celebrate the range of items Decathalon sell, indicating exactly how easy it is to spend over £30 in the superstore.
