Plan Post

The brief

Plan UK wanted to tap into the growing ecard charity sector, supporting their growing online activity such as Twitter and email programmes.

The work

Without a name or a logo (just a concept) I worked with a designer to give it an identity, expressing it’s ethos in a clear and concise manner. We began by brainstorming name ideas, finishing with a rough scamp of the logo. I then took myself away to decipher the key messages the client wanted to focus on, highlighting the positive experiences that can come from child sponsorship.

The designs came out of a strong desire to create something bright, colourful and fun, but educational too. I developed a playful tone of voice to compliment Plan’s existing brand values and global communications strategy.

The result

Endearing designs that successfully launch Plan Post and elevate Plan UK into the ecard arena and further establish their growing online presence.
