Revlon Inspires

The Brief

Revlon were launching a brand new colour collection called Nail Enamel and they wanted to create optimum brand awareness through social media.

The Work

Who wouldn’t want to see 5 top Australian fashion bloggers go head to head to win the ultimate prize – a Revlon Nail Enamel Collection named after their own blog?

The idea was to invite communities to share their inspiration derived from the 12 shades of the new Revlon Nail Enamel Collection. Each blogger first chose their 3 favourite shades. Then by writing a blog post to their community, they invited them to share content inspired by those 3 shades whilst using a special #revloninspires hashtag. Each blogger then chose their top images to appear in a mood board alongside their chosen shades. Those 5 moodboards went head to head on a specially designed Facebook app (live on the Revlon Australia Facebook page) for the public vote. The collection/blog with the most votes would win!

The Results

The campaign was a huge success with lots of friendly competitiveness from the bloggers rooting for their mood boards and votes. The DDGD Colour Collection is now in Priceline stores to buy. So check it out!
