The Brief

How do you launch a new colour collection through your community of followers on Facebook?

Who wouldn’t want to win a Revlon Nail Enamel Collection named after their own blog? Five top Australian fashion bloggers were asked to invite their communities to share their inspiration derived from the 12 shades of the new Revlon Nail Enamel Collection. Each blogger first chose their 3 favourite shades. Then by writing a blog post to their community, they invited them to share content inspired by those 3 shades whilst using a special #revloninspires hashtag. Each blogger then chose their top images to appear in a mood board alongside their chosen shades. Those 5 moodboards went head to head on a specially designed Facebook app (which was live on the Revlon Australia Facebook page) for the public vote. The collection/blog with the most votes won! The campaign was a huge success with lots of friendly competitiveness from the bloggers rooting for their mood boards and votes. The DDGD Colour Collection was then produced for Priceline stores to buy.
